Britt Gunn, J.D.
Britt began working at Waldman & Associates in August of 2014 as an articling student, and joined the firm as an associate following her call to the Bar of Ontario in June of 2015.
Britt graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in June of 2014. Prior to that, Britt received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Carleton University in 2009 with a specialization in Human Rights and Law.
While at law school, Britt spent a semester working in the Immigration Division of Parkdale Community Legal Services, was a member of the executive of the Osgoode Student Chapter of the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers and won an award for best government counsel while competing at the International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition in The Hague.
Britt has assisted in cases before the Federal Court and the Supreme Court of Canada. She has experience representing clients before the Immigration Division, the Immigration Appeal Division and the Refugee Protection Division. She has also assisted clients with applications for permanent residence on humanitarian and compassionate grounds, sponsorship, Pre-Removal Risk Assessment, and Ministerial Relief. Britt has represented clients with complex inadmissibility issues.
Britt speaks French at an intermediate level.
